Tomorrow  go to Loj to attempt Street and Nye.  These are 2 relatively low peaks (#31 and #45) so they should be relatively straight forward.  There's only 1 way that people climb it, and that's from the HPIC, over a bit of trail, a bit of old X-country ski trails (32 Olympics I think?)  then it's all herd path.  The questions I have to worry about for this hike that I don't typically have to worry about for most of my winter hikes.

The first is trail finding.  There was a moderate snow fall the Wed - Thr before the hike, predicted to drop 4 to 8 inches.  This means trail breaking.  The good news is on Fri before I saw a report for Tabletop (#19) saying down low it's only a couple inches, but up high it's about a foot.  We're likely to be breaking trail

The second is the water crossing.  There is a crossing of Indian Brook which is a major river in the area.  It's difficult in the summer if the water is high, and people have been trapped on the other side.  Not worrying about being trapped, but if the brook is frozen.  Thankfully the last report I have seen from Wednesday says the brook is frozen.

Finally, I've had a knee issue since I did Seymour the Sun before.  It's been healing rapidly, and I'll take some ibuprofen to keep the swelling down before I hit the trail.  I also got new braces that have a more compression and support than what I've been using.  With any luck, it'll keep my knee from being hurt.  The other injuries I got on Seymour are clearing up.... but the frost nip recovery is coming along, just some numbness in 7 of the 10 fingers, and with that it's mostly just the tips.

I've also had a few cancellations because someone online is starting an hour later.  So, I'm now down to 5 instead of the 9 I had a couple days ago.  This will be numbers 32 and 33 for my winter round.... hopefully I'll be off trail by 2 or so.
